Human Resources Director
Bonginkosi Mthembu joined mothers2mothers in September 2010 as Human Resources Director based at Head Office in Cape Town, South Africa. He brought extensive experience in human resource management and currently leads an organization development process aimed at strengthening the internal organization capacity to be able to respond to external and internal challenges and opportunities. Having recently spent time with Coega Development Corporation, an investment promotions organization, and the National Parliament of South Africa, Bonginkosi was attracted to mothers2mothers by the opportunity to contribute to the work of the organization in saving lives of mothers and babies across the African continent. His interest in people management and organization development is motivated by the desire to strengthen the internal capacity of the organization to achieve its vision and mission. He is also passionate about development and helping underprivileged communities, with a vision of creating more development opportunities for unemployed graduates in the continent. He and his wife support a home for abandoned children in Khayelitsha most of whom are leaving with HIV and AIDS. |
