Grants & Compliance Manager
In November 2010 Jacqueline (Jackie) Livingston joined the mothers2mothers team, as the Grants and Compliance Manager. Jackie has extensive experience working for local and international NGOs and consulting organizations, most recently as Manager: Grants and Contract Services for PATH in Seattle. Her key competencies include Grants and Contracts Management, Project Management, Financial Management, Applying Donor Regulations (USAID/PEPFAR, NIH, CDC, Private Foundations, etc), Developing Systems, Maintaining Databases, Training, and Budgeting. Prior to joining mothers2mothers Jackie spent 10 years in the USA. In early 2010 she says that she had a great opportunity to travel to Ethiopia to work with a few local NGOs that work with people living with HIV/AIDS, including orphans due to HIV/AIDS. It was this encounter that convinced her that it was time to move back home to become more involved in the area of HIV/AIDS, and to use the experience that she had gained over the past few years to help build capacity within South Africa. So when the opportunity with mothers2mothers presented itself she couldn’t resist and was happy to move with her husband and two children. She feels privileged to be part of such a fantastic, fast growing organization. |
