Country Manager - Lesotho

Moleboheng Patose has vast experience in the management of HIV/AIDS programs, both in the workplace and in communities.  She has played a major role in the design, development and implementation of HIV/AIDS policies in the private sector and community-based organizations both in Lesotho and South Africa.  Moleboheng has been involved in the mainstreaming of HIV/AIDS in different sectors.  She has worked with communities in health-related issues including education of HIV/AIDS, especially on prevention, care and support to women of childbearing age and educating them on sexuality and the effects of multiple and concurrent partners.

Moleboheng has been involved in the design of HIV/AIDS policies and programs for different organizations from development and implementation to offering technical advice on how to implement and face some of the challenges programs experience as they develop.  "I believe that the empowerment of women is the backbone of our society's development.  Issues such as culture and societal beliefs should be addressed so that women can be empowered to make the right decisions about their lives - accessing treatment and giving birth to HIV-negative children."
