Programme Development Manager

Role:
The Program Development Manager (PDM) will manage the launch and development of new m2m programs in one or more countries, most likely in Southern or East Africa. The PDM will lead m2m operations in their appointed countries until such time as the program is passed on to local in-country management, at which point the PDM will be assigned responsibility for establishing programs elsewhere.

The position will liaise closely with all HQ departments including senior management. It is expected that each assignment will last about a year and that the PDM may spend between 50-100% of their time in their appointed country, the balance at m2m HQ in Cape Town, South Africa.

In parts of Africa, up to 75% of the babies born stand to lose their mothers, who are HIV+, to AIDS-related illnesses. Without intervention, more than a quarter of these children will themselves inherit the virus. An entire generation is at stake.
