mothers2mothers was recently featured on Siyayinqoba Beat It!, a local South African program that addresses the issues of living with HIV/AIDS.  On an episode about prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT), Site Coordinator Boniswa Gege of Motherwell Community Health Centre in the Eastern Cape speaks about the methods in preventing HIV transmission.

Efforts towards universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support are bringing AIDS out of isolation

One of m2m's most tenured Site Coordinators, Nozi Samela, was one of the speakers at the International AIDS Society Conference 2009 held in Cape Town.  Speaking at two different sessions, Nozi spoke about her battle with HIV/AIDS and her role as a Mentor Mother at mothers2mothers.
