m2m featured in groundbreaking guide to partnership competence |
|
The first global effort to scan and rate NGO’s, United Nations agencies and other social stakeholders, featured mothers2mothers among the top 85 out of 550 NGO’s identified for “The Business Guide to partnering with NGOs and the United Nations.
Launched on 5 July 2007 at the United Nations Global Compact Leaders Summit in Geneva as part of the Financial Times Special Report, the guide presented to 700 senior company executives, heads of international NGOs and government officials, profiled m2m based on company ratings, from a list of 20,000 companies surveyed worldwide.
The guide targeted at corporate leaders, maps out and profiles possible social partners. It’s a resource that provides practical contact information, as well as case studies for business leaders from the private and social sectors to identify partnership opportunities and successful partnership models.
Published by the UN Global Compact, Financial Times, in association with Dalberg Global Development Advisors, the guide received much support from leading business and media organisations, which played a large role in reaching out to thousands of companies worldwide. The Business Guide hopes to promote and facilitate more partnerships and contribute towards good partnership practices over time.
