Andrew Stern has been involved with the organization since 2003 when he spent four months in Cape Town working with founder Mitch Besser to develop mothers2mothers’ first organizational and programmatic strategic plan.  Andrew is a Partner at Dalberg Global Development Advisors, an innovative strategy and policy advisory firm committed to international development.  Dalberg works with leading companies, foundations and public agencies to bring private sector solutions to global development issues.  At Dalberg, Andrew has launched the Washington, DC and San Francisco offices and now currently co-leads the US practice.  He leads many of the firm’s efforts in engaging corporations and foundations on new program launches in access to finance and global health. Andrew has helped design, launch and now currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs, a program at the Aspen Institute that supports organizations who invest in and build small and growing businesses in developing countries.  Andrew holds a BA from Princeton in Economics, an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School.  Andrew and his wife, Emily Miller, live in Washington, DC with their dog Henry.
