MKI hosts party in Khayelitsha, July 20, 2007

Mothers Creations, The Medical Knowledge Institute (MKI) and its YOELL hand made jewellery project, celebrated their partnership with a very special evening on Friday July 20th 2007 at the beading center in Khayelitsha.

YOELL hand-made jewellery is produced by the women of Mothers Creations under the dynamic leadership of Tuffy Kirsten.

The proceeds from YOELL finance MKI's Mother and Child Mission. One of the aims of this program is to train midwives and healthcare workers to reduce mother to child transmission of HIV during childbirth.

The party was hosted by Dr. Harold E. Robles. Co-Founder and President of the Medical Knowledge Institute and Mr. Bastiaan van der Knaap, Chairman of the Southern Africa Netherlands Chamber of Commerce.
