Introduction

mothers2mothers (m2m) aims to reduce the number of babies born with HIV and help women access medical care for themselves and their families.

m2m uses education and empowerment as tools to prevent mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV/AIDS during pregnancy, combat stigma within families and communities, support a mother’s adherence to medical treatment, and reduce the likelihood of AIDS orphans.

m2m is an innovative mentoring program offering comprehensive support for HIV-positive pregnant women and new mothers.
