David joined mothers2mothers in Aug 2006. Whilst traveling around the world with his family on a sabbatical from his role as a sales manager at JPMorgan in London in 2005, David was introduced to mothers2mothers and worked as a volunteer for two months. After returning to London in early 2006, David decided to end his 22 year career in banking and join mothers2mothers as a permanent staff member, moving with his wife and two children to South Africa in January 2007.

David’s roles include both local and international fundraising and development, co-management of Mother Creations and involvement with the business arm of international expansion. He also fills a role within the general management of m2m.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College in Vermont, USA, where he studied International Relations, Political Science and French. He enjoys photography, cycling, wind surfing, travel and is currently learning to speak Xhosa.
