Welcome on Board!

mothers2mothers (m2m) is delighted to welcome three new members to our International and U.K. Boards of Directors. They join a diverse and impressive group of individuals who comprise our three Boards and provide invaluable leadership and guidance to us.

Joining the U.K. Board of Directors:

Samantha Bond – Actress

Samantha-BondSamantha is an English screen and stage actress, best known for her role as Miss Moneypenny in the James Bond films during the Pierce Brosnan years. She also played Lady Rosamund Painswick in the television series Downton Abbey. She has numerous credits in West End theatre in London and the Royal Shakespeare Company. In recent years, Samantha has played leading roles on television in Home Fires, Fanny Hill, Outnumbered, Distant Shores, Donovan, Larkrise, Miss Marple, and Midsomer Murders. She is a trustee of The Royal Theatrical Fund, an ambassador for The Prince’s Trust, and a Celebrity Supporter for Macmillan Cancer Support.
 

Joining the International Board of Directors:

Colleen Hancock – Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, BabyCenter

Colleen-HancockColleen is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of BabyCenter, the #1 parenting and pregnancy digital resource educating more than 45 million parents each month around the globe. She is a member of the Johnson & Johnson mHealth Strategic Team, focused on improving maternal, newborn, and child health, and a founding member of MAMA (Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action) reaching over 3 million underserved mothers. Prior to joining BabyCenter, Colleen had 16 years experience in retail strategy and general management, overseeing profitable businesses including Neiman Marcus and Duty Free Shoppers (DFS) globally.

Kate Schachern – Partner, Rabin Martin

Kate-SchachernKate is a Partner at Rabin Martin, a global health strategy firm, where she leads large-scale, global health and health access projects around the world. She has a decade of experience working with the private and public sector on programmes, strategy, communications, policy, and advocacy efforts to advance public health outcomes, with a special focus on improving access to HIV care and treatment across Africa.
