mothers2mothers South Africa was formed in 2001. Since then, m2m has grown to include three affiliated nonprofit organisations based on a common, shared vision and mission. Each entity is governed independently, and is comprised of a diverse group of individuals committed to impacting the health of mothers by putting them at the heart of reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health. m2m is managed by a shared set of senior management leaders, including a President/Chief Executive Officer (based in South Africa), and several board members for governance across entities:
– m2m South Africa, based in Cape Town, is our global headquarters and provides leadership for and direct implementation of programmes across Africa, business development and strategy, human resources, innovations, policies, partnerships, finance, and administration, and core compliance and quality assurances oversight.
– m2m International and m2m United Kingdom, our Los Angeles-based United States operations and London-based European operations, provide leadership for key donor relationships, geographic-specific fundraising, key regional and international policy and advocacy activities, and communications.
